Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location was super convenient to uptown Charlotte. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Christy from Q Tavern. Restaurant and bar on-site a definite bonus. Hot breakfast was nice.

The breakfast was really good. Usually when we go to hotels, the eggs for example are never really that good. Whoever does the breakfast for this hotel did a great job. I like the fact that there were options on the type of sausage as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

As im quite critical about my place of staying, i got a bit worried by seeing the facade of the hotel, but the reception was so nice, very kind ladies, nice fresh counter design. We could check in a bit earlier and that was very convenient! We could park our car very comfortably, for extra payment of 25$, but its ok, taking into account relatively low price of the hotel for this area. Tea and coffee were complimentary. Room was relatively fresh looking design, and felt clean. Good mattress, good shower. Breakfast was included in price of the room. I could find some low-sugar, fiber rich options, and fresh fruit.

Hotel was easily accessible from interstate. Hotel was clean, all staff encountered was friendly and courteous. They offer breakfast in the lobby, to eat there or take with you. One of the better ones I’ve seen. Fresh fruit and food, waffles, bagels, cereal. We were only there one night so we did not check out any other parts of the hotel (restaurant, pool out of season and anything else they offer) and the only other thing I didn’t see mentioned was a $25 parking fee :)

Breakfast attendants were very eager to close down breakfast & end their shift I suppose. It seems very impolite to start slanging breakfast items on the cart & start pulling items BEFORE 9:30…… just kindly ask the guests to make a final selection as it’s nearing time to close…… instead she tells one of the guests that were asking for food “there was not much left!!” And kept pulling food without showing any empathy. After all,“That is apart of Marriotts LEARN model 😉
